You Can’t Do It Alone

Lea Davison at Unbound Gravel

You can’t be what you can’t see.

Growing up, cyclist Lea Davison didn’t have any queer role models to look up to. As her mountain biking career propelled her to the Olympics and world championships, she feared that coming out, and being her whole self on trail, would lose her sponsors and jeopardize her career. But with the support of friends, family and her loving wife, Lea ultimately proved to herself and the next generation of cyclists that you don’t have to choose between who you love and the sport you love.

Following Lea and her dedicated support crew as she tackles the infamous 200-mile Unbound Gravel Race, “You Can’t Do It Alone” tells the story of an athlete and her team building queer community with every race.
